BUSINESS AVIATION AND THE CESSNA AIRCRAFT COMPANY JOIN FORCES
The Cessna Aircraft Company just designated Business Aviation of Sioux Falls, their newest Single Engine Service Station, Cessna Sales Team Authorized Representative (CSTAR), and Cessna Pilot Center. Business Aviation has experienced terrific growth in the last eight years and according to president, Dale Froehlich, "The new relationship with Cessna adds greater momentum to our plans. General Aviation has been very strong in the Dakotas, and it's our responsibility along with Cessna to rebuild the light aircraft business for our future."
Business Aviation officials and staff instructors flew to the Cessna Aircraft factory in Independence, Kansas, and took delivery of their first new, 1998 Cessna Skyhawks on August 10. Both aircraft were placed into immediate service with Business Aviation's Cessna Pilot Center, Better known as the Business Aviation School of Aeronautics. According to Steve Wilson, Director of Flight School Operations, "The new aircraft were an immediate success. They represent exactly what our customers expect, and have immediately become our primary flight trainers."
Wilson, also Business Aviation's sales executive, advised they will accept three available Cessna 182 Skylanes for North and South Dakota this year. He will bring the first Skylane home from the factory August 26, and the aircraft will be on static display at the grand opening celebration of their all-new Cessna Pilot Center on August 29th.
What about price? Wilson said a fully loaded Skyhawk can be purchased for only $995 per month under Cessna's Prime Cut financing. At the third year the monthly payment will adjust to $1,295 for the life of the loan and retain a fixed interest rate of only 7.99%. In addition to tradiational aircraft sales, Wilson expects to place some aircraft into managed partnerships for a fraction of the cost. He also explained, there are limited opportunities for leaseback arrangements with Business Aviation's Cessna Pilot Center program. Of course, he will be happy to explain the details in person. He can be reached by calling (605) 336-7791, extension 61.
